What is EFT?
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) has been called “Tapping Therapy” or sometimes as “Meridian Tapping Techniques (MTT)”. Engineer Gary Craig invented EFT as well as other useful tools. He utilizes emotional acupressure to easily, quickly and gently eliminate negative emotions and beliefs that considered basis of all negativities, pain and problems in life. The belief is that emotional problems are due to damage experienced from the past.
Its common sense approach is drawn from the past that have been around for over 5,000 years. Albert Einstein way back 1920’s stated that all things (also human bodies) are made up of energies. This therapy capitalizes both physical and emotional pain. EFT treatment makes use of the finger tips instead of needles to tap than needles to tap energy meridians’ end points of energy found under the skin surface. As non-invasive treatment, it works on the essence of making simple and painless changes as possible.
How does EFT work?
EFT clears negative emotions that are caused when body energy system is disrupted.
It eliminates or lowers intensity of emotional response to bring back harmony emotions and provide relief from physical discomfort. The procedure is as follow: give full concentration to specific problem and simultaneously tap with fingers on the energy meridian’s end points. By combining the kinetic energy sent to your energy system while discovering and directing attention to root causes, it creates a “straightening out” your energy system; consequently getting rid of the “short circuit” to response learned or negative emotion of the body.
